Veorron

The capital of Hapina sits at the head of the Silver River in the Helina Mountains. While it is too far up river for the water to be used as a means of transportation, the final over land trek is well maintained. This is not the only route to Veorron though. Several mountain passes are used to navigate the Helina Mountains to get to Mel and Arelti. Historically, these were used to transport slaves yet more frequently they (or new routes through the rough terrain) are used by escaping slaves, freedom fighters, and the armies of Hapina or Mel marching to each other's aid. Veorron was not directly involved in instigating the war but it was increased use of the trade route up the Silver River to Veorron that caused tensions to flair and eventually led to the Second Slavery War.
