Sealon

Sealon was a series of provinces controlled by a council of mages. Predating the Grand Duchy of Bistan. Its loose government and failure to adapt to the changes caused by the end of the 2nd epoch weakened it. When the God Prophet Bistan appeared the people rallied to the faith and its strength. Many of the mages that ruled the different provinces fled when their citizens demanded they convert and serve. Some fought and were executed as heretics. A small few joined the faith. Sealon fell in 387.
