Vlard Highlands*
Home of the Falkovians
Day 27
Now passed through what we are calling the Srijhl Expanse. No one has been here before. It reminds me of the time in the northern expanse of the Varzik Mountains. The air feels colder here, even though I have climb through the Khazin Mountains, which connects into these mountains, they didn't feel as cold. I do wonder what this place holds. My companions question about what could have been trapped here. I can't say I think something was trapped here but I suppose it could be a possibility.
Mostly mountain range and rocky faces with a dusting of snow. Veggitation is far and few between and the fauna is hard to pick out of their environment causing it to be seen as a world with nothing, a frozen wasteland. The cities and settlements nestled into crook and crannies of the mountains and just as the denizens the fauna hide and tuck themselves away.
Geography
A large expanse of tall mountains, deep valleys, chasms, and some flatlands. Due to the constant magical storm that has surrounded Vlard Highlands, has kept the area colder than the mountains to the south of it. Hidden pockets of water either above ground or underground, a few hot springs, and some geysers.Fauna
Home to a few types of fox, hares, wolves, deer, sheep, and bears, it also remains home to a few types of eagles and hawks, mostly surviving closer to the Falkovians. Each of the fauna mentioned having to live their lives out in the frozen mountains of the Vlard Highlands.
