Cloak and Dagger

Cloak and Dagger, also popularly known as the Highstep Twins, were a Jeltiri adventuring duo consisting of Bridget and Hamish of Idashu. They were so named for the two magic items between them: Bridget's bone and pearl dagger and Hamish's cloak of swiftness. The two of them adventured together for about six years, mostly as a way to stay alive, as they both had marketable skills in the area but no real reputation and no inheritance.
Bridget, in time, built up the skills of a ranger, while Hamish took on the role of a scout. They mainly operated in Equora and Nerislynn, occasionally making appearances in Rivcen and Verraway. They preferred reconnaissance jobs when possible, but also accepted a few more dangerous contracts to hunt monsters.
The duo gained great fame after slaying dangerous undead creatures in Rivcen in 1006 and were invited to a banquet in Hemejdd by King Talesan Fairfell, who called upon them twice in the following two years for other jobs, for which he paid them generously enough that they settled down in the city to see if they could start a more conventional life there, officially disbanding the party not long before the king proposed to Bridget.
