Epherion Gelathirniell

Epherion Gelathirniell was an elven wizard who lived in the Era of Cloud. He is best known for his association with Vetrano the Illustrious and his eventual disappearance therein.
Many sources claim that Epherion's parentage was split between high elf and shadar-kai. His interest in the magic of light and dark reportedly began with the curse one of his parents lived with, of which he might have inherited some weaker version.
During the Eventide of EL 1000, the Light Brigade discovered that Epherion was in fact murdered by Vetrano the Illustrious, afterwards descending into undeath and becoming a powerful force that guarded the Tether of Kaeli for over a thousand years. He was put to final rest by the Light Brigade in July of 1000.
