Tether of Kaeli
The Tether of Kaeli is the ancient rope, woven from the very Threads of Creation, given by Evendur to Kaeli for the purpose of towing the sun across the sky each day. The phrase is also used as a totum pro parte to refer to the single ten-foot length of the whole Tether which was cut from Kaeli's hands by the elves who would become the first ghost drow during the Age of the Meydra. This length rocketed across the sky and came to a rest in the Tors where it remained until its recovery by the Light Brigade, guided by Vetrano the Illustrious, in July of EL 1000.
Following the end of the Eventide, the Tether was taken by its wielder, Æshir Þorlássón, to an unknown location, and has not been seen on the material plane since.
