Prime Material Plane

The Prime Material Plane, or simply the Prime, or material plane, is the plane at the center of every cosmological model of the multiverse. The chiefest reasons for this follow:

• It is a plane under no governance of any particular alignment—that is, the plane itself has no effect on the behavior of its inhabitants.

• It is the only plane on which, theoretically—though it is not conclusively proven—natural portals to any and every other plane can appear.

• The Feywild and the Shadowfell are proven to be reflections of the Prime, as their geography shifts to reflect its own.

The material plane is a place of variety and diversity, the birthplace of the Meydra, and the center of many mythologies across every plane of existence.
