Zejeris

Zejeris is a small town in southeastern Jeltir, governed by Lord Jeremiah Dover of Telra and overseen by the reeve Fedric Hill. The population of Zejeris is entirely comprised of tieflings and their immediate families, as it was founded to be a safe haven. Zejeris's existence has been in peril since its founding, with many citizens of Jeltir nervous or even outraged that a haven should be offered to such people. The village is hidden and closed to visitors except by express permission granted by Lord Dover.

History

Zejeris was established in EL 872 by decree of King Himnerith Matyus. At the time it comprised only eight tieflings and their immediate family, and has grown very slowly and not always steadily since.
