BiG Session 8: Three Thieves

General Summary

Month 10, Week 2, Year 931
From the Journal of Beleren Hazid
Gameria has started to quiet down, the end of the war is in sight and criminal activities have settled down in the lower levels. Last week agents of the Blood Bath & Beyond crew defeated their longtime Slavoslav rivals, ensuring their dominance of the black markets and bathhouses of Gameria's 3rd Level. Somehow they managed to recruit Teherse'singh for the climactic warehouse showdown, the stone construct dragging the Slavoslavs' boss into the waters of the Gulf of Gameth. This is the first time Teherse'singh has been spotted in years, I'll need to see if HQ is concerned about his motivations for reappearing like this.    In the meantime it appears that BBB is now a force to be reckoned with, a group that the Shroud can do business with as equals. Their membership's been in flux ever since the showdown, but my agents have kept me abreast of the group's current leadership:
  • Camilla joined the Temple of Erivo, but all reports indicate that she still has a controlling interest in BBB's affairs. We'll see how long this arrangement can last, Erivo and the Ageless One may look the other way if they have larger threats to deal with.
  • Wesker has returned to the sea with his old ship captain Bradley, sailing around the Karaga Sea and Largas Ocean as a privateer. Piracy become's a more challenging occupation in recent years, but perhaps the end of the Lead War will push the remaining pirates into new territory.
  • Clavicularius has taken over the Siren's Call tavern in Wesker's absence, apparently pleased to leave behind his old occupation at the artificer's guild. The group still seems to be employing the Picky Wickens gang as couriers and lookouts throughout the city.
There are some other members unaccounted for, Morrey Silverton vanished from Gamerian high society several weeks ago and Allen Dunvill hasn't been heard from in months. I'm afraid my agents may be responsible for Janna Storm losing her job at the National Archives, but at least we now have a favor to cash in with the Archives.    I've felt my age these last few months, the city's changed so much during the war that I hardly recognize the faces I see around town. Kacie keeps mentioning the joys of retirement, perhaps it's finally time I leave my work to a new generation. Countless horrors like the Sunken God threaten our modern world, but if none of them come to Gameria then perhaps it's finally time to put my faith in younger individuals to keep us safe.
