Euphemia McDowel
Euphemia was an accomplished mathematician and worked out the most logical way of dividing up the year. The Euphemian Calendar was introduced to Kureta in 1321 and has been the standard method of tracking the days ever since.
Euphemia studied at the University of Magic, where her natural talent for organisation was a huge boon to the librarians and researchers there. Although her grasp of arcane Magic was rudimental, she proved to be a great asset to the university and devised several systems that aided the professors and students alike.
Euphemia's other notable talent was in inventing. It was this talented individual who invented the pocket watch, as well as some commonly used magic items.
