Hugh J. Tinnyborough

It is not known why Tinnyborough started with researching the taste of poisons, but his contributions have been undoubtedly invaluable for medicine, apothecaries, alchemists and professional assassins.
Hugh J. Tinnyborough is a well known Apothecary, from the area around the Wunnewalden. He gained his fame by writing a book about the taste of different poisons: Identifying Tastes of Poison for a Specialized and Directed Treatment.   He is known for a good relation with the descendants of Regis Eric Leafid and is a regular visitor in Leaf And Let Dye and their Leafid Herbal Gardens.   Tinnyborough is apparently still in good health, even though he tested most of the described poisons himself. To do so, he invented techniques to reliably reduce the potency of most poisons, enabling him to relatively safely taste the susbtance. A few years ago, one of his experiments had some unintentioned consequences and he spent a few months in the Selverrock Monastery to improve his mental states.   Even today, he sometimes seem to be a bit absent minded or having harmless hallucinations. He is open about this fact and claims, it enables him to approach new posions even more creatively.     He is known to be a passionate eater, having consumed most types of dishes usually only prepared for nobility. Of course, Tinnyborough always claims this was for the purpose of research, as he needed to taste the poisons interacting with the dishes.
