Since Guildfall, he has been suffering acute amnesia. The file below is dated 0.6.5 before Guildfall.

This is the story of Damien Ironbrand; our esteemed Guild Artificer / Shopkeeper and the Guardian of Hope!

Damien Ironbrand's life took an unexpected turn when a devastating illness swept through his village, claiming the lives of many, during this period of turmoil he encountered a group of sick and orphaned children.

Drawn to their plight, he couldn't bear to see their suffering and decided to use his skills as an artificer to create magical devices and potions that eased their pain and brought them moments of joy amidst their illnesses.

Word of Damien's selfless acts spread throughout the city, and soon, he became known as the Guardian of Hope.

People sought his aid when their loved ones fell ill or needed assistance, and Damien was always there, offering his inventions and support. The children he cared for became like family to him, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

This character is based upon a real person who has helped create our DnD guild.

Damien is the founder of "Little Warrior Shields" which is a one person initiative whose aim is to provide forms of "distraction" to sick children within our health care system. Damien creates amazing foam warrior sheilds, hand turned wooden wands, and more recently has begun putting together DnD bundles (which include dice, players handbooks, miniatures and more) that will soon be making the journey to some of the older children at local hospitals.
