Tanquary Lake
At almost 400 miles wide north-to-south, Lake Tanquary (or Lake Skenar as it is known in the south) is the widest freshwater body of water in Elanora. Its tributories, other than its namesake, include the Stoan and Voksdorf rivers, the north-Braeland wetlands, and various streams from the southern Pizol range. It features the port city of Tanquary Bay on the east shore, Maius to the south, and various fishing villages around the coast. It is normally abundant in marine and bird life. It is large enough for small ocean craft to sail on, and merchant barges and frigates frequently do exactly that, traversing the various tributories to trade with Pizol, Tanquary and the Western isles.
