The Frozen Expanse

A country founded in the harsh cold, the founders of Etril discovered a peculiar anomaly of the land: magma flowed under the ice and snow. The magma, while producing heat, did not emit its heat to the land above unless it breaks the surface as lava. Utilizing this, Etril carved a path through the frozen lands merging lava and snow together. This allowed Etril to establish Kalthav Harbor in the Glass Bay, albeit the ships had to be specially made to tolerate various climates.
