The Golden Dome
Its golden dome is visible from far beyond the walls situated between four spires reaching for the skies. The temple has a large garden around it with ponds and small groves, hedge mazes and a small hospital building to the left in front of the cathedral. The large main doors are a heavy white colored wood bound with brass strips. Above the door, there is a depiction of Pelor as a sun with fields of crops around him and monsters cowering away from his light.
As you enter you’re met by a large hall basked in the light coming from the many stained glass windows coloring the hall in an array of different colors. At the center, there is an elevated round altar of white marble, situated directly under a golden sun, placed in the top of the dome. All around there are benches centered around the altar, alcoves filled with statues of knights of Pelor.
Purpose / Function
The temple serves as the central point of Pelor worship for the continent Thyr. The Golden order uses it as their main base of operations.
Alterations
In the year 812 A.S. under the supervision of the King Agano Veari, a hospital was added to the grounds in order for the clergy to see to the sick and needy of Kriata.
