Grandrood

Grandrood is often referred to as the most vile place on the surface of Eldaris. Comprised mostly of marshes and swamps, it is unsurprising that this is the least populated nation. Some denizens even argue there are more living things in The Abyss than there are in Grandrood. Most noteworthy settlements in the nation can typically be found on the border to Karnok, due to the events of The Great Migration. Though that does not stop some from living deep in the marshes. Those that do reside outside of known settlements are often referred to as The Stench due to the smell that accompanies the swamps and marshes of Grandrood. As after residing within the swamplands for long enough the smell seems to accompany you permanently.

Those who manage to traverse through the swamps and marshes of Grandrood would eventually find themselves within a forest of dead trees. Why the forest is dead is unknown to all, but if one were to keep travelling they would then find themselves within the forests of Elendrath. The druids of Elendrath are very protective of their border to Grandrood. Generally not allowing passage into their forests to any who smell of The Stench.
