The Conflict

Prelude

Due to a serries of poor harvests the Kindom Zernov unilaterly canceld the grain trade deal with the Imperial Supremacy of Averland instead prioretising its trade wihit the Brazenthrone.
Zernov knew that cutting supplies to the empire would at most force the empire to draw down on their grains stocks but there would chance for food shortages.
The Imperial Chousil issued an ultimatum on 14th Ice, the ultimatum would mean large food shortages in Zernov and Brazenthrone, thus Zernov refused.
Troop started to build on both sides of the border between 8th Sowing and the 11th Planting. a large number of mercenaries from the godclaw

Deployment

At the 12th Planting  16 battalions of The Imperial Army crossed the border.

Outcome

The Empire anexed the province of Zlatozhita plasing it under the Imperial Crown Estates
Large destrution in all Zernovni cityes as a result of air bombardment using mortar bombs and barrls of alchemist fire. 
large parts of the population has been displased, the Zernovni govermet clames thet as many a 25000 pepole are unacounted for.

Aftermath

A large number of long-time professional troops from the Imperial regiments resigned from service du to the brutality ordered by army command during the war. The province was severely depopulated and new settlers form the empire have displaced the native population.

Historical Significance

This was the first war that used arial bombardment.

Technological Advancement

The arships provided the empire whit a desisive advantage.  The 3 Airships of the Line were used to dropp barrels of alcemical fire and mortar shel on all Zernovi cittyes. in addition they were used as mobile balista platforms fiering ther bolts on the ground forces of the Zernovi army.
