Myrada
Her Benevolance Myrada
The fifth of the primary gods, Lady of Life and Rebirt. She is worshipped as a herald of spring, Matron of Motherhood, giver of life, and the benevolent hand behind healing. She is known as the twin of Amynd and in later years portrayed as a warrior woman who wars against the forces of death and decay. She is primarily worshipped on the central continent with the warped influence of the The Church of St. Dorma spreading slowly to the west.
Other Names include: Solaris
In most religions, she is depicted as a kind and benevolent woman; a mother who loves all of her children equally, yet turns on those who worship her twin brother. She is seen as a forgiving individual, cleansing the sins of her children through harsh prayer, fasting, and redemption tasks. However, the ideas behind the most widespread version of her are far from the truth. While she is a kind and benevolent mother, she loves and embraces her brother and the grim task he represents. She relies on Amynd as much as he relies on her, as they are the only two gods who have a hand in their element. Without death, life no longer holds meaning, time holds no value, and pain becomes overwhelming.
Like her elder sister, Ifira, she takes an active hand in the affairs of mortals. While she does not go to the extents of Ifira, she will interfere with untimely deaths through prophetic dreams and omens. She is not shy of taking human form to speak with or interfere directly. She is forgiving, and it is always with a heavy heart when she must guide her disciples to kill the sentient undead. She looks upon the undead with pity and sorrow, for they are not natural or right.
