Lady Helena Dorma was born of nobility and given to the church. She was a devout follower of Myrada, the Goddess of Life. She entered the holy knights at a young age and led the fight to expel and eliminate the worship of Amynd.

Personal history

Born a noble woman in a male dominated culture, she was slated to be married off to the most profitable young lad her parents could find. This did not sit well with Helena, who felt her calling to be the church. She fought for years against her parents wishes to avoid that fate and finally, at the age of fourteen, officially joined the church. Cults perverting Amynd's name sprung into the light at this time, tainting the church's view of the god. Voices to clear out the cults grew louder, calling for a scalpel to excise the tumorous flesh of their religion.
Helena, however, was not satisfied. She felt that if worship of the embodiment of death was a cancer that had taken long to metastasize. At the age of sixteen, she officially joined the crusaders and lead the call for the complete removal of Amynd from the church. The priests began to send her out on missions to distract her from her goals, but her ambitions could not quelled so easily.
At nineteen she broke away from the church, bringing many priests and crusaders with her. Using her influence, she petitioned for a church of their own to be built that would serve as their base of operations. From here, she led the charge to extracate Amynd from the religion with force. The crusade lasted for over forty years, her death laying siege to the church she once was a part of served as the final fire to spur her followers to victory years later.
Twenty years after the end of the crusade, she was canonized as a saint for her valor and dedication to Myrada. She is now the Matron saint of Duty and Purity.
