Lecture on Going to the Afterlife

Turalance Academe in the late afternoon. There will be a one-of-a-kind lesson presented in class, and some special visitors will be present to witness it. This class is known as the Master's Religion Course. You'd assume the course covers many religions and the end of the planet, but you will find out that you are obviously mistaken about that. This lesson goes over what we know and can prove about the divine. It will discuss what is true and what is the imagination of the world's beliefs, and it will not be all black and white. Today's theme is what happens to you once you die

You stroll down the honey-orange stone hallway, which is beautifully illuminated. When you round the corner in your endeavor to find classroom 29, you finally spy the silver plaque with the embossed number 29 on it, beside an open doorway. When you enter the door, you find a classroom with a dark reddish brown wood desk that is incredibly long and in a U shape. In front of this desk, you see multiple rows of desks made of the same wood, elevated and slightly tilted toward the front. In the space between the front desk and the row of desks on platforms, you see a steel podium with papers and a V.E.R situated onto it. As you enter the room, you see that the wall beside the desk is a massive blackboard, which is currently covered in magical writing and symbols. You find an empty seat and get comfortable, waiting for the unique lecture to begin.

As the final seat is taken a door beside the blackboard opens to reveal a Female Dwarves dressed in dark black robes with orange and purple Magical symbols all over it. Her head is covered with dirty blonde hair that is braided into six different individual braids that all lead to a central braid that falls to her waist. She even sports an intracatically braided goatee. Her gray eyes have a solemn and austere expression. She walked right up to the podium, bringing the V.E.R. closer to her. She speaks sternly into the V.E.R. as she speaks into it.

" Good afternoon, students. For those who are visiting this class today, my name is Professor Regus. Today, we'll discuss what happens to us when we die. There are several beliefs out there from various faiths. Some say each goddess and God have their own guardian who returns the soul to the divine realm. Others claim that the soul manifests itself in the divine realm. Some say we have no soul and that we are just here and gone. Well, thanks to several researchers and Kindra BoneGiver, we have new knowledge on this topic. Shaman Bone Giver will be the main source for this discussion, as she has spent the most time viewing the divine astral world. Please stop me at any time to ask a question."

The lecturer pauses as she examines the room. Assessing the interests of the students and guests before getting started. When one's hand shoots into the air. The professor's attention was drawn to the Elfman with olive skin and lavender hair.

There was a faint skepticism in the professor's voice when she said, "Yes, Mr. RoseKnight, what is your question?"

"Will the material we are about to go over be on the final exam" Mr. Roseknight said with smirking expression on his face.

"As I previously stated, Mr. RoseKnight, whatever I go over is always on the test. Now, if there are any more queries about the material we are covering, I would like to get started." she said this in a very professional tone as she surveyed the room for me and everyone else.

"As I mentioned, we'll be going over Kindra BoneGiver. She has been conducting studies on the recently deceased for 50 years during her time. She is the creator of the ritual The Eyes of Divine . That has been able to gaze into the divine world in our mundane world. This ceremony is quite harmful to the user."

A hand shoots up in the very first row; it is from a Gnomes with strawberry pink and blondish hair twirling into an A twist.

“Yes Miss Lexden what can I help you with?” The presenter says jestering to the young gnome.

Ms. Lexden sits with a textbook open infront of her and with her finger pointing into it, and she proceeds to say in an arrogant tone. "Professor, why doesn't the book include the ritual's direction or ingredients? There is only a note to speak with Ace Maygus about it. Shouldn't this textbook contain that information."

Professor Regus gave the gnome a stone-cold stare and responded. "Miss Lexden, this inormation is only of the few that we prevent anyone with access to the textbooks from knowing until the aces believe you to be ready to learn it. You will be required to seek out this information from the Aces. Remember that it is risky and should not be done all willy-nilly. Please read the warnings that accompany the ritual to understand why."

Ms. Lexden bows her head for a moment and begins to read out the warning, "Some of the repercussions of this ceremony include "blinding, psychosis and possible brain death. I see why a person shouldn't try this ritual with out a need or purpose." With some more thinking she puts her finger in the air. "Wait professor, how did shaman Bonegiver perform so many The Eyes of Divine rituals?"

"Well, my dear, that remains a mystery to this day. We might be missing anything for the ceremony, according to our hypothesis. Another is that the gods and goddesses blessed her. Many people have tried to perform this technique after her, and at the very least, they have gone blind. We do know that she was one of a kind and not do this ritual unless you want to go blind."

The professor then straightened up and turned to face the class."Now that we have a basic understanding of how she used to view it, let's have"Her eyes scanned the room. "Mr. Lock, could you read from page 23 the first experiment?"

A young Ifrits with dark red skin and golden flowing hair gets up and starts reading.

Today is the day when we will look beyond the veil. My cream is ready, and the ritual is set. The war has begun between my clan and the Way Stompper tribe. It is now time to do the ceremony; if you are reading my notes, please turn to the fifth page. The ceremony was successful, and it opened my eyes. The environment became a jumble of colors and patterns. I took a few minutes to gather myself after staring at a tree for a long period. I could make out the tree with its dark brown trunk and lush green leaves. There was also a beautiful green aura surrounding it, with some light blue and orange emanating from it. It took me a few moments to force myself away from the battlefield. I'm here to discover what leads us to the beyond the vile.   As I gazed down at the battlefield where many have died, it was clear that my tribe had one. I could see from the bodies of the fallen boards of all different colors orbs over the bodies of the dead as the victors walked towards the region they had won. When I focused on it, it would take the appearance of a deceased person, yet they appeared unhurt, translucent, and the color of the orb I was looking at. A lot of my brothers and the Way Stomper were orange, but not all of them. I'd estimate about 60% of them were, and the remainder were other colors with a mix of orange in them.   While observing the spirits. Take note that some of them have animals close to them. That was translucent and the same color as the others. That's when they appeared out of nowhere. A creature with a light black hood flowing over their bony body, and grasping his scyth with their boney hands. They also radiated eight different colored auras. The power I witnessed and felt almost convinced me to abandon this experiment. As they landed in front of the soul, they would stare at it and reach out with their empty bony hand.   To my surprise as the soul of the soldier looked right cloaked man skull. He didn't try to flee, scream, beg, or fight it. Instead, he embraced his boney hand and was content to walk with him into a gateway. Then I noticed another one, who was terrified of the shrouded figure and let out a scream. As he turned his back to run, the scythe fell directly in the center of his back and dragged him away, screaming in anguish.   The next one I saw on the battlefield was General Strikk's soul, who appeared to be a fine-looking Orc until I noticed the orc behind him. The greatest way to describe this creature is perfection, with muscles in the right places, golden skin that glistened, and Crimson wings that looked sublime. This Orc seemed to be capable of take on a whole army and having a good time in the hut. The cloaked man then approached them and extended his hand. and the General accepted, and the hot Orc placed his hand on the General's shoulder, and they all proceeded to a gateway.
"That's a good stopping point, Mr. Lock. Thank you for reading. Now, can anyone identify the two figures that were described in the reading?" Professor Regus stated this as she looked around.

"Miss Lexden, please," Professor Regus said, acknowledging that she raised her hand.

"Of course, professors. The hooded figure is a Grim Reaper ; they are in charge of transporting souls to the Divine Realm. The other figure is almost certainly an Angel . They are guide individual in life"

“Very well done That is correct Miss Lexden” the professor said enthusiasically.

The topic of Grim Reapers' skills and designs proceeded, as did the discussion of the several probable destinations you would be brought to in the afterlife. Someone inquired whether grim reapers are the only ones who transport souls to the divine world. They are the ones who harvest the souls on land, according to the answer. Ferryman transport you to and from lakes, oceans, and any other reasonably large watering holes. Some ideas claim that angels and valkyries personally fetch heroes, although this is only a legend. There has been no evidence of this.

Eventually, the lecturer inquired if this was always the design of the goddesses and gods, or perhaps they did something else earlier. Professor Regus presented her hypothesis on the subject. She believes that the divine realm and moral realm have evolved and altered over time. She argued that it is easy to perceive how the moral realm has changed, but it is more difficult to understand how the divine realm has evolved.

However, it is clear that each God and Goddess initially had religions devoted solely to themself and their domain in the past. The The Followers of the Sacred Divine 8 , which worships all eight gods and goddesses, is now the world's largest religion in this day and age. So I reasoned that they probably had their own messengers and soul gatherers at first. When they agreed to collaborate and the Divine 8 Church arrived, we obtained the setup we have now. That is merely her point of view on the subject.

Others stated that they had never changed and that things had always been the same. Some claim that there were minimum adjustments, but they most likely did the same thing again and over. The rest stated that there are gods and goddesses that know what they're doing and have done so since the beginning. There is no different answer to this they are all just people's beliefs.

"We have a few minutes left, if you have any questions," Professor Regus says, looking directly at you

Just a small note: the quotation section in white with a light grey background makes it essentially impossible to read :S

This is weird not sure why it's letting you have a day and night mode. When the background is supposed to be black, I guess also look into that thanks for the heads up.

Let's have fun creating the impossible, building new worlds, and all types of possibilities. Valcin
