Elf

The Elves is a race that come in many different categories. High Elves, Wood Elves, Dark Elves. They all have different traits and history which has shaped them into what they are. They also have very different stereotypes surrounding them.
Instead of sleeping, Elves trance instead. While trancing they are shown visions of events from earlier in their life, which makes it much easier for them to remember things. Though just because they trance instead of sleeping does not mean that they cannot sleep. Few Elves prefer sleeping over trancing, though it is very rare for that to be the case. Disease and exhaustion is still a very valid reason for Elves to sleep.
