Wood Elf
The Wood Elves are a subspecies of elves with a very different history compared to the High Elves or the Dark Elves.
During The Great Disaster the Wood Elves migrated away from the decay to the best of their ability. They chased the land that was overgrown and stocked up on food to the best of their ability when they found overgrown land. Because of this, they could be found walking for weeks straight and it was not uncommon for food to run out. Many died of starvation and since the Wood Elves were split into smaller clans every life lost was a big loss to each clan.
Because of this, many of the clans bonded together under the leadership of the Lumirelle Clan, the Xaralee Clan and the Railey Clan after The Great Disaster ended. They gathered in an area that was overgrown and together created Thyren.
Though, not all clans wanted to bond together, many were proud of their traditions and wanted to remain their own. These clans left the mainland to the overgrown island of Dreyla, where they would unfortunately be slaughtered by a warband of orcs who had travelled across the water from Eredus in a desperate attempt to conquer new and more habitable land for their people. Dreyla became a mass burial grounds and is today considered haunted in Wood Elven culture.
