Hendric Wildbloom

Hendric is an average sized half-elf with glowy veins on his face. Some say his hand is covered in this, but he often wears gloves. His motivations are mostly unknown, but his fellow adventurers do notice that he isn't out for gold or glory much. He comes off as a little arrogant or impatient at times but also has no qualms about taking lead in a mission. Hendric is a sorcerer of wild magic. His untamed powers often cause havoc, for both his enemies and his friends. The source of his power is a complication that his mother Erin had during pregnancy with Hendric. It is not unheard of for half-elven children to cause these issues, but more often in human women. Hendrics father Aethel went out in search of a flower, called wildbloom on behest of their local healer. Unfortunately the healer was merely an apprentice at the school in Shafanor and had not yet mastered all the things needed. He forgot that for the healing properties to come out you had to make a tea of it. Lacking these instruction Erin ate the petals whole, the crushing of them caused the magic imbued by Samael The God of Chaos and Madness one bored day to come out and kill her. Hendric survived, but Aethel was shocked to see icy blue veins spread all over the left side of Hendric's body, spanning from his fingertips to his ear. The grief was forever in Aethel's eyes, and while he raised Hendric, the knew at a young age that for both of them to be happy, he had to leave. So he went travelling. He was taken in by a hermit wizard once, who saw potential in Hendric's untapped powers, but was soon overwhelmed. Hendric knew he couldn't do too much more in seclusion, and so decided to head to Dameril to join The Golden Griffon Adventuring Company - a profession that showed promise for Hendric to practice and learn to handle his untapped wild magic.
