The Massacre on Dreyla

Eredus, having been left with very little habitable land became nothing more than a wasteland and a war zone after The Great Disaster. After the fighting had ended, some orcish clans were left with nothing. The orcish clans banded together to travel to the east, where the destruction from had been milder and the land was rumored to be fertile. They arrived at Dreyla and slaughtered any Wood Elves they came into contact with. Many of the Wood Elven clans sent messengers to Silfa Serine and asked for assistance but by the time Thyren's armies arrived, the wood elven clans of Dreyla had been massacred. Thyren's army slaughtered the surviving orcs and buried the wood elves they found, before heading back to Silfa Serine.
Today Dreyla is seen as haunted ground among Wood Elven culture, and a single tree has grown over a mass grave, surrounded only by decay.
