The Tragedy of Dunia

After The Assault of Baymoor, the Therian forces managed to regroup most of their forces from Baymoor and decided to march on the Elladonians anew. Elladonia, having gained a new bout of resources, especially fresh horses, from Baymoor, decided to meet them in the field. On the morning of the 27th day, the beginnings of harvest season were noticeable in the dew. The night before had seen lots of rainfall, making the ground muddy and slippery. Here the Elladonian cavalry, generally better equipped and more numerous, couldn’t bring its full force to bear. After an initial barrage of magic by the Elladonians, at this point easily deflected by magic wielded by Therian Mage Hunters, both armies went into melee.
Then Therian artillery struck. New siege weaponry imbued with powerful enchantments struck the Elladonian reinforcements, guided by the King himself. He led them up from the rear when the first impacts happened. There was little his guard could do for him.
King Thomas Stormchaser got crushed and died that day.
After another hour of fighting the news spread through the The Elladonian Army, in turn crushing their will to fight. General Ravencrest called for a retreat with what little army hadn't scattered.
