Theories of Magic

The many theories of what magic is and where it comes from. These theories have sparked debate between wizards and scholars since before the days of recorded time, but most believe that magic is connected to Irene the Goddess of Magic.
These theories are split into a series of categories where some of them carry subcategories as well. These categories go as follows:
Magic is Energy,
Magic is Divine,
Magic comes from the Blood of Irene,
Magic comes from Within 
In truth, all of these theories are false. Magic comes from The Soul Cycle, which is watched over by Loralie The Goddess of Death and Irene the Goddess of Magic. Though this fact is unknown to the mortal world, and even most ancient beings are unaware of the existence of the cycle.
