Matriarch of the Silk-String Clan
The Matriarch of the Silk-String Clan of the Crane Basin is both terrifying to look at and pleasant to speak with. She is a Liu Spider, meaning her form is that of half spider, half humanoid, and yet despite this offputting appearance, she styles herself a savant of the high courts of the Crane Basin, serving as both leader and delegate of her clan. She speaks well and is schooled in the ettiquette of her peers well, but to hold such a title as Matriarch of the Silk-String Clan cannt have been won by polite smiles and well timed chuckles. Her eyes see all and that alone makes her dangerous.

Body Features
Liu Lutia is a presence that does not easily go unnoticed, thanks to her being of the Liu abaration of her people. She has a fair and seemingly thin humanoid femanine figure from the waist up, piloting a large arachnid corpus from her waist down.
Apparel & Accessories
Liu was brought up as a strong diplomatic leader for her clan. She recognized from an early age the accessories that certain afluent ladies of the courts carried with them were both functional and deliberate. She commonly carries with her a bright red parisol and an ornate fan, using both to cover her face when observing proper standards of decorum.

Liu Lutia was tuaght and schooled by her elders from a young age among her kin. Though this education was not formalized, she has shown a level of literate intelligence that implies that she is a well read and versed as formally educated persons, especially in matters of courtly politics and traditional customs of the Basin. Often, her knowledge of these customs has led some to be more wary of her than her appearance already does.

Like many Matriarchs before her, she has a very maternal perspective on her kin and clan. She goes out of her way to ensure their safety and security, though she has notably never sworn her clan to another. Any threats to her kin can be expected to be met with swift recourse, often devestatingly so, as she tends to see a singularly pointed threat as being directed at all of her kin.
Hygiene
In an effort to remain poised for courtly appearances, Liu Lutia observes a strict routine that aligns with many broad strokes beuty standards observed in the Basin. She does not hold the rest of her kin to this standard, as the Silk-String clan are primarily nomadic and seen as monstrous by many others. She often smells of fresh fruits and flowery fragrances, wearing flowers or gen encrusted hair pieces often. She hads never been noted to be less than presentable in court.
Reign
Liu Lutia's most notable accomplishment as the Matriarch of the Silk-String Clan was overrunning and claiming the Great Library, formerly the home of the Kirin clan, for her clan. Her reasoning for doing this was that a dire prophecy had been given to her by the Moon Rabbit clan, the details of which were kept in the archives of the Great Library and in order to prevent any from finding out about this ill portent, she ran it's occupants out and kept the secret hidden within the building behind her armies of kin.
