9-13-24, Communing with the Devil
General Summary
After AA restored light and energy to the Tomb of Dierdre they set off to explore the upper entrance of the tomb now that the ice was disolved and melted. Upon investigating the area, Chronos realized that at the alter of Abiah, Prime Master of Time and All Father there was now a goblet of wine. Fearing being disrespectful Chronos drank back the goblet. Upon finishing the drink Chronos fell backwards head cashing on the stone floor. The rest of AA rushed to Chronos' side where they were unable to rouse them from this strange unconcious state.
Chronos sat up looking around, and soon realized something was strange. Behind them stood a figure wearing black and gold with light pouring from their skull and the tips of their fingers. The figure was Abiah, Prime Master of Time and All Father. Abiah offered Chronos a contract. Chronos could ask Abiah any question they wanted and Abiah would answer it. However Chronos could never speak, mind whisper, or write the information they learned to anyone alive on the mortal plane or there would be consequences for their actions. Chronos took the deal and returned to their body in the mortal plane shaken and upset.
The group did learn that this is the only place in Ellon where the veil is thin enough that an offering may be made and a contract struck for knowledge with a prime deity.
Flimp Cheeky who had also left an offering to Abiah, Prime Master of Time and All Father went into a similar unconcious state and also returned to their body safely.
Calista had left an offering and accepted wine from Gaia, Prime Master of The Ground. The ever curious druid then made offerings and contracts with all 5 of the present prime deities.
After seeing several of their party make offerings and drink goblets of wine Uribella and Freya also tried to enter this strange demi plane together. Their attempts were unsuccesful but they both did manage to encounter Chiwa, Prime Deity of Death. Freya then also chose to commune with all of the other present deities.
Chronos made a large offering at the Alter to Raghnall Prime Master of Knowledge and Discovery. They offered a magical ring that Chronos is attuned to and always knows the location of. The ring disappeared and shortly after Chronos heard a strange voice in their head.
After their strange communications AA returned to The Mooncast. Shortly after sailing off the glacier where the Tomb resided it lifted off the surface of the ocean and just began to hover above the sea. The crew stood in fear and awe as they resumed their final delivery to Stormbreak.
