Alfredo office

The office is in the northeast corner of the mansion.

Entries

The entrance doorway is in the southwest corner of the room, north of the entrance hallway.

The room has two windows: one facing north and one facing east. These are usually covered by paper shades and gauzy curtains, so that it is easier to see out than to see in but the light is not blocked in the morning.

Contents & Furnishings

There are two white leather couches in the northwest and northeast corners of the room with decorative pillows whose covers were embroidered by Mia de Alfredo many decades ago. The northwest couch has a rectangular end table next to it to the east.
The middle of the room has a green and brown dual patterned carpet which might be a Pertimken.
There is a shallow fireplace along the south center wall. When it provides heat, that comes from a pipe feeding up from the cellar furnace. If the valve for the pipe is firmly closed, the fireplace usually holds two or three multi-wick candles to provide light and possibly a pleasant scent.
There are two desks in the southeast corner, one facing east and the other facing south. Each of the desks has at least one taper candle resting atop it. Obviously two desk chairs would normally be present, but at the moment only the one facing the east desk is present.
