Dire wolf

Dire wolves are gigantic wolves, some which grow to the size of a small pony. A dire wolf represents a wolf in its most aggressive, primal form. These animals follow the same general behavior and mannerisms as a regular wolf, complete with similar pack dynamics.   The most noticeable difference between a dire wolf and their smaller cousins is their fur coloration. A dire wolf’s fur tends towards blacks, dark browns, white-gray and mottled gray, with the white and mottled gray being found among the Steelgray breed of dire wolf.   An adult dire wolf tends towards 8 feet long and can weigh up to 750 pounds.
