Massive. Nightmarish. This bull-infused demon kin is one of the best of the worst that the Abyssal plane of hell bovines can vomit to the mortal realms. Rumors suggest they might have been seen thousands of generations before through the use of a kryptforge and a special alchemical recipe that opened a portal to their brimstone soaked fields.
In current times, skalds whisper in hushed voices that not only have the hell bovines been seen in the
Oatman Canyon region, but also one of the greatest among their kind... the Greater Hell Bovine.
Surely that's just a rumor...
... right?
... do I have to go? This sounds worse than a Troll... — Stefanos Vel-Barboza,
Seskyalii skald alchemist
Basic Information
Broad-shouldered, with a slight hump of a brahma bull, these massive creatures stand upright on their hind hooves. They are a monster, even by hell bovine standards. At their full height, they reach a solid 8 to 9 feet tall of dark brown or black muscle and fur. Their black eyes smolder and burn with a devious light. An insidious cleverness that reeks of the abyssal pits of the Outland plane.
In battle, they brandish two weapons: the war hammer and battleaxe. Both drip with the stink and vile corruption of the abyss. The war hammer glows with the cursed Dark Speech of
Zuyan. Letters constantly shift and burn like molten metal.
The battleaxe is similar. Incredibly sharp, this too is alive with the dark runes that dance along its edge.
As any proper bull, they have a proud set of horns. Black as a tortured soul, they gleam with almost a metallic sheen, even in the darkness.
The first warning is when, out of the pitch darkness, one hears the angry baritone "Mooooooooo!"
The stories say, there is no second warning.
All right. That's it. No steak for a month!— Stefanos Vel-Barboza,

Author's Comment: Originally from Diablo II, the Hell Bovine appearance in Elohey has been in the works for a long time. The Greater Hell Bovine is heavily inspired by the Hell Bovine from Diablo II.
Legends of Elohey is a work of pure, unabashed fiction. In fact, it considers itself rather fancy and quite proud of itself, when it isn’t worrying itself to distraction. Names of characters, places, events, organizations and locations are all creations of the author’s imagination for this fictitious setting.
Any resemblance to persons living, dead, or reanimated is coincidental. The opinions expressed are those of the characters and should not be confused with any of the authors, since the characters and the authors tend to disagree a lot.
