An ethnic group from the southern region of Blansys. They have lived in the area for hundreds of years, since before the Demon King’s arrival.

• Most tend to have darker hair colors.
• Though they once had great longevity just like the elves and Astrals, their bloodlines are growing weaker and their lifespans are getting shorter.
• The Ancients were more technologically advanced than their northern Astral neighbors, who largely relied on their unique astral magic powers. The Ancients developed advances in alchemy and mechanics that have been passed down and spread far and wide to this day.
• They also harnessed advanced golem technology and machinery, as evidenced by the trap-ridden halls of the Ruins of Water that are still patrolled by ancient guardians even now…
• They are said to be under the protection of a mighty true dragon, one of the few in the world.
