Demon King
An immensely powerful demon, who commands the powers of darkness and the infinite Abyss between worlds. As the most powerful demon, he naturally rose to become their King.
His original home world was originally prosperous, but was destroyed by the Dimensional Devourer in the natural cycle of worlds. However, he and some of his followers were able to escape to a small plane of their own making. From there, he lamented the loss of his homeland and developed a plot: to save countless other worlds from such devastation, he would travel across worlds to gather the strongest beings possible. Together with these Apostles, he would slay the serpent to end the cycle of destruction and creation.
Putting his plan into action, he stormed numerous worlds with his ever-growing Army of Terror. His latest stop is here in Elterre, where he sensed great potential in the inhabitants of the world. Aiming to subjugate the continent of Norland and set up the foundation of a demonic kingdom, he soon met resistance: the Astral Sorcerer @Flegetonte.
The battle between the lone mage and the Army of Terror raged for what seemed like an eternity. The Demon King's trusted wizard was slain by Flegetonte, but the Sorcerer's energy was spent, and he was soon overwhelmed. Impressed by his defiance, the Demon King shared with him the truth behind his journey and promised an end to the cycle. Something in his appeal spoke to Flegetonte, who readily agreed to replace the Apostle he had defeated and carry on the conquest of Elterre.
Still, Flegetonte was far from the only one to resist the Army of Terror.
