Astrals

The Astrals were a group of uniquely gifted peoples who ruled the Norland continent hundreds of years ago. Blessed with immense magical power and near-immortality, they used their talents to map the paths of the stars and predict the future, recording their interpretations as prophecies.

• They built the ancient city of Adastria, centered on a great tower and a giant crystal, the Astral Guardian.
• They predicted the first Arrival of the Demon King. However, they took their grand tower, the Heavens' Keep, and escaped into another dimension, leaving the Astral Guardian in the depths of the Pit of Abaddon in Adastria. The continent rapidly fell without them...
• Most of their records are lost but tales of them may have lived on, and pieces of their prophecies written in ancient scripts survive scattered across the continent.. (Tom??)
• They were closely associated with the Ancients who built the Ruins of Water, but without their support, the Ancients fell to the Demon King. Oops
• Astral magic is closely tied with the color silver-blue, representing the blue horizon as one rises to the stars. Or something.
