Verdant Invasion Repulsed

Before dawn a dark figure and a group of undead invaded the Steelfist Settlement of Verdant Isle. Antonio of Mirellion was on guard and was able to alert other inhabitants as the undead began to breach the front door of the settlement. At that point Aleesia Dawnseeker was able to alert The LightBringers of the attack. The defence of the settlement was primarily performed by Devlin Helmbreaker, Krael, Durgash, Antonio of Mirellion, Thrain Stoneforge, and Aleesia.

Most were seriously injured and Aleesia was briefly killed, revived by Luna of Mirellion who had just arrived with the LightBringers.

The invasion seems to have been lead by a dark shadowy figure that was invisible much of the time. There were also several undead present, including some fairly powerful, formerly Elven, armoured undead.

The invasion was eventually repulsed, with the shadowy figure turning into snow and sludge on being killed. Their aim seems to have been to plunder the reliquary under the chapel.
