Bladvolva

The Bladvolva or Cardseers of The Gallowheart Wilds are powerful women gifted with prophecy by The Gallows Keeper. 
Should they be determined by the Gallows Keeper or his Gallowmaids to be right for the task, she will be gifted a deck of magic cards bearing the symbols of the Gallows Keeper, and will be able to read and interpret them. This role is almost always reserved for women, and it is often granted to women in their late 20s or early 30s, should they pass the test. It is not uncommon for a failed test taker to be found dead in the woods. 
The women who do pass though, almost never end up bearing offspring.
One of these notable Cardseers who did bear a child gave birth to a changeling, and despite pressure from her clan to abandon it in the woods, she continued to raise them and they in turn became a Cardseer when they came of age. Bladvolva Mors is still one of the cardseers to the Yggvordr tribe to this day.
