Gallowheart Wilds
The Gallowheart Wilds is located on the eastern side of Hivarethe, a large expanse of forest guarded by four major tribes. The forest covers 2 hilly regions and has 2 lakes and a river running through it, as well as countless brooks and streams.
The tribes call themselves the 4 Great Roots, each maintainging their own territories and bases within the forest, as well as patrolling and maintaining the woods to prevent over-hunting or excessive deforestation.
Each of the tribe leaders meet with the leaders of the Rikhross each year to negotiate logging rights, as well as making deals for fishing and hunting within the Wilds. The Rikhross and the Great Roots have a respect for one another, and they have adopted some of each other's ways in handling certain affairs within their own societies.
The Wilds are considered a protected place, and the sanctity of the forest is maintained by the Great Roots; who often do not take kindly to outsiders coming in and making a mess of the ecosystem.

Almvinr
The Almvinr are calm and diplomatic, and they are more welcoming to outsiders, offering their services as guards and guides through the Wilds. The will however,Bjarkbern
The Bjarkbern are mostly hunters and trappers, the most nomadic of the Great Roots, but also the smallest tribe. They often move in smaller caravans of 30-40 members, only meeting for religious festivals or other significant dates.Eskhird
The Eskhird are more brash and distrusting of outsiders. They are the most strict on their rules and often will chase outsiders out of their territories or even kill them if they have trespassed too far.Yggvordr
The Yggvordr are sometimes called the 'Carrion Crew' by outsiders. They are known to accessorise with bones and teeth that they scavenge. They tend to roam the perimeters of the Wilds and are the 2nd smallest tribe. They are often called upon by both the other tribes and by some Rikhross as well to attend and the funerals and perform the death rites. This tribe wears largely dark colours as well, and they paint a streak of red across their eyes.
