Mylara

Mylara (my-LAAR-uh) is goddess of Magic, Mysteries, and the One Power. Mylara is a divine being that was born at the creation of the universe and is one of the original nine deities.

History

Relationships

Mylara is the twin sister of Nieyr. Mylara is very close to the other female gods of good.

Mylara’s main enemy is Zolena who created her own corrupt version of the One Power.

Appearance

Mylara appears as a human woman with long, bronze hair, pale skin, and purple eyes. She wears white robes trimmed with silver and light blue and carries a rosewood staff with a sky-blue orb rested in a gnarl at the staff’s head.

Church of Mylara

Mylara is the goddess of magic and patron of female channelers, because of this, most of her followers are female channelers. As a rule, she does not allow male followers, just as Nieyr does not allow female followers, since she deals with Saidar, the female side of the One Power.

Clergy

Mylara does not have much in the way of clergy, as most of her followers are mages, and what clerics she does have are all mystic theurges. Mylara has very few templars, as she does not have a doctrine that needs to be enforced with strength of arms, especially since she promotes the use of arcane magic; most of her templars have basic templar training, but are spellswords at heart.

Temples and Shrines

Mylara sees no need for temples and shrines, as veneration of her comes from the use of Saidar.
