Nieyr

Nieyr (NYE-air) is the god of Magic, Mysteries, and the One Power. Nieyr is a divine being that was born at the creation of the universe and is one of the original nine deities.

History

Relationships

Nieyr is twin brother of Mylara. Nieyr is very close to the other male gods of good.

Nieyr’s main enemy is Zolena who created her own corrupt version of the One Power and tainted Saidin causing the death of all of Nieyr’s followers.

Appearance

Nieyr appears as a human man with bronze hair, purple eyes, and pale skin. He wears dark grey robes trimmed in silver and dark blue and carries a platinum staff with a deep-blue crystal on top.

Church of Nieyr

Nieyr is the god of magic and patron of male channelers, because of this, most of his followers are male channelers. As a rule, he does not allow female followers, just as Mylara does not allow male followers, since he deals with Saidin, the male side of the One Power.

Clergy

Nieyr does not have any clergy as the use of Saidin has only been safe for a couple months.

Temples and Shrines

Nieyr has no clergy, thus he has no temples or shrines. Additionally, Nieyr sees no need for temples and shrines, as veneration of him comes from the use of Saidin.
