During the Age of Rebirth, arcane power was wielded at heights unheard of before or after its time, and the Reckoning represented the most fevered pitch of arcane and divine might melded into weapons of war. Many of the great artifacts, weapons, and armors created by the gods and their champions to be wielded against other gods and demigod-like warriors were destroyed in the Reckoning, with only a handful surviving the God-Wars. Even of those few, many haven't been found in the Age of Extant, and of those learned scholars and church patrons who know of the ancient god-weapons, many doubt any remain.
The truth of the matter is that a handful of these artifacts still exist, scattered across the continents, the planes, and even beyond; and a dark secret lies within them all, for they were not unchanged by their time in the Reckoning and prior. The sins they witnessed, the tragedies their wielder's suffered, and the destruction that the Reckoning caused haunts these Remnants still. Perhaps the key to restoring these artifacts lies in breaking their shackles to the past. Compiled below are the known Remnants remaining on Emaxus, sorted by landmass.
Aasveig
The Remnants found or related to Aasveig are typically either related to Isael or her spawn, the Aasveigan Pantheon.
Dainsleif and Tyrfing
Dual swords forged by Svaðilfari, the Stallion of Flame, Dainsleif and Tyrfing were renowned for their ability to channel the elements of fire and ice. They were wielded by the greatest champion of Svaðilfarther during the Reckoning, defending their lands from an incursion by Narvox's followers; however, this champion sacrificed themselves for their clan, and though they defeated the invading forces, the weapons were lost. It is rumored that Svaðilfari took them back to Heitrhylr, hiding the twin blades away in the Forge of the Tempest, but this is unsubstantiated and hypothetical.
Dainsleif is a longsword inscribed with runes of ice and wind to lock down and batter foes, while Tyrfing is a shortsword with runes of flame to annihilate those caught in Dainsleif's power.

Visage of the Depths
Aitreas
Iotura
Some of the Remnants on Iotura actually predate the Reckoning, and some weren't even used during its battles. As Iotura was the first continent to be inhabited, the most ancient Remnants are found on its lands.
Broodmother's Fangs
When the Battle of Yathra Silthame sparked the Reckoning, tales were told of a drow warrior who could pick off commanders and captains from hundreds of feet away. Even if the lethal shots didn't eliminate their victim immediately, the vile poison coating every shot from this sniper would kill them, melting their innards like a spider's venom. Broodmother's Fangs was wielded by one Kalanaun Ossana, one of the greatest archers to fight during the Reckoning. They were a devoted assassin and warrior of Ix'kythael and served her in countless battles across Emaxus.
It was during the battle that lead to the creation of the Arakhor Tathra that Kalanaun was slain, and the Broodmother's Fangs were shunted to an unknown location. The powerful longbow has yet to be found, and has lost much of its power in the centuries since the Reckoning. Should it come into the hands of another skilled archer, the ancient foe-slayer could be reawakened.

Cometfall
Created by the first great kingdom to unite what is now known as the Ioturan Heartland, the Ethorithians, Cometfall is a warhammer nearly unrivaled in power. Forged from a comet that slammed down somewhere in the Heartland, the Ethorithians put all of their remarkable craftsmanship (mundane and otherwise) into forging a hammer for the gods. Once it was completed, it was presented to Yamma, the Silver Dawn, as a gift. In one of the only instances of the gods walking on Emaxus during the Age of Rebirth, Yamma himself arrived not to accept, but to decline the Ethorithians' gift.
Instead, he told them that they must forge their own path, and claim their own destiny. Emaxus was shaped by the gods
for their children, mortals. So, he blessed the hammer, holding it in his hands and remarking how far they had come. It is believed he spoke with paternal pride. He then gave it back to them and told them to use it as a method of stopping fallen mortals and other dark influences from claiming what they had worked so hard to build.

Kind Guard
Wielded by the legendary Ralla Kindguard through the entirety of the Fragmented War, Kind Guard is one of the greatest shields in Emaxian history. Forged of platinum, gilded silvers and golds, and inlaid with a magic-conducting topaz, Kind Guard is a potent defensive artifact. It embodies the good that Ralla did for Emaxus, and the self-sacrifice and protection she practiced constantly.
In the wake of Ralla's death and the devastation that created the Fragmented Isles, it is unknown where Kind Guard may be.

Lover's Dichotomy
A pair of earrings believed to have been crafted by Valereth's own hands, Lover's Dichotomy is both a testament to the power of love and companionship, while also the strength of illusions. Lover's Dichotomy was wielded by Valereth's high priestess during the Reckoning to aid in the evacuation of countless innocents before the onslaught of the Obsidian Lords' armies. With the earrings and her god's blessing, the high priestess shadowed those escaping from countless battles and often times charmed her enemies into killing one another during her retreat.
Eventually, after countless escapes and heroic misdirections, the high priestess was slain by assassins loyal to Laaelum; however, Valereth ensured Lover's Dichotomy would not be taken and perverted, causing the earrings to disappear as the high priestess' soul was ferried away by the Lover and cast out into the night sky. Since then, the moon-shaped earrings have yet to be found.

Oathkeeper
Oathkeeper was once the blade of Empyrean, the first Solar to fight in the Battle of Yathra Silthame. With it, he slew hundreds, if not thousands, of fell creatures and demented followers of the Obsidian Lords in one of the largest battles of the Reckoning. But it was for naught. The solar was laid low, and as his body and mind was torn asunder, so too was his blade. No one knows what happened to the pieces of Oathkeeper after the Reckoning, but many believe they were hid around the world to prevent the mad solar from ever reclaiming them.
The truth is, no one knows the truth.

Requiem
In the battles of the Reckoning, there was a Camaerithian champion of such strength and renown that he was feared by even his allies. His ruthlessness and skill in battle was unrivalled, and he sought victory above all else. But, in his desperation to grow stronger and protect his people, he flew too close to the sun. He willingly subjected himself to an ancient strain of vampirism, and he and his blade were corrupted forever.
Now, Requiem is a vampiric blade that hungers for blood. Can it be redeemed, or is it forever to be tainted by its wielder's sins?

Steward's Garb
Storm Breaker, Blade of Thunder
During the flames of the Reckoning, a great champion of Marzak rose. One of many, this champion, Aggarimm, grew to such an infamous status that eventually Isael herself challenged the warrior. But when the two fought, the Tempest saw not a foe to be vanquished, but an unparalleled warrior shackled to the whims of his vile god. So, Isael broke Aggarimm's chains, and freed his fighting spirit from the chains of the Ragebinder. The orc rose, his spirit reforged in lightning and tempered by thunder, and was granted a gift by his new god: Isael gave him Storm Breaker, Blade of Thunder, forged by Kaedo and empowered by the Tempest. With his new weapon, Aggarimm reforged his legend, and became one of Isael's most favored champions.
But nothing good lasts. And as Aggarimm's fame grew, and his legend garnered more and more favor from the Children of Yamma, Marzak sought to make an example of his traitorous champion. The Ragebinder struck Aggarimm down, but not before his rebellious child wounded him. A wound that would allow Isael to drive Marzak from the field of battle and force him to retreat, and give the Tempest time to retrieve Storm Breaker. Since then, the Blade of Thunder has waited at Aggarimm's grave, where the very land rose during his and the Ragebinder's battle.

Vestments of Karma
In the Age of Rebirth, there were many ancient monastic orders. Masters of monastic paths would push the boundaries of what they could achieve with their mind, body, and soul, and mastery of ki reached untold heights. Ladrilye Dlarraithar, a drow who sought a life on the surface and to achieve peace outside of the fate prescribed her people, joined one of these orders and worked for complete control over her body and her footsteps in the universe. After many centuries (many of which were spent fighting off her people, who sought to kill her for defying the Obsidian Lords), Ladrilye put everything she had learned into a gi. She had learned how to weave her ki into the weave of the universe (akin to magic), and thus affect the karma of herself and those around her. And so, the Vestments of Karma were born.
During the Reckoning, Ladrilye was called to fight against her people once more. Her control over karma and fate led to many victories for herself and her allies, but eventually the master drew the ire of Ix'kythael herself. The Broodmother smote her, dashing her body amongst the massive peaks of the Great Ridges. And so, the Vestments of Karma laid dormant, until new masters could claim them.

Drumis
Outside of Emaxus
Some Remnants, either due to the battles of the Reckoning or the attempts to hide them (or collect them) after, have ended up on other planes, big and small.
Dominion
A beautiful greataxe believed to have been created for a champion of Isael by Kaedo, Dominion was wielded by many different champions of the Tempest over the course of the Reckoning. It was passed to whoever was deemed Isael's greatest warrior at the time, but the one who truly forged Dominion's legend was Nauneo Thunderheart Kolakanathi, a goliath woman who slew the Obsidian Lords' followers in the hundreds. It was in one of the final battles of the Reckoning that she was torn asunder by the combined efforts of Marzak and Narvox, and legends claim her agony in death was rivalled only by her agony postmortem.
After her death, Dominion was lost to time. Some believe it was stolen from Emaxus in the chaos of the Reckoning, or it is simply lost out on the planes, but no one knows for sure.

The Flesh of Yov'urvil
During the Reckoning, there were legends of a warrior of Marzak who wielded their own flesh as a weapon. Their body could contort and shape into any weaponry they needed, and the weapons they created from themselves were immensely powerful. This champion was known only as War.
When they were finally slain, the source of their abilities was revealed: a parasitic worm of flesh from Xeccamund, a gift-curse from Yov'urvil, the Planet of Flesh. This parasite, which came to be known simply as the Flesh of Yov'urvil, was not the only Xeccamundian remnant that the Obsidian Lords employed, but it was perhaps the most horrifying. It turned its wielder into a living weapon, and kept them fighting and consuming lest they be consumed by the Flesh.
What happened to the Flesh in the wake of the Reckoning is unknown.

Stormguard Plate
A fine breastplate of lamellar, the Stormguard Plate serves as a conduit for its user's magical capabilities. During the Reckoning, the Stormguard Plate was donned by Hedinfrid Steindottir, the greatest Aasveigan warrior-cleric of the Age of Rebirth. When she fought, the lightning of a thousand storms cascaded across the lamellar plates of her armor as she eradicated entire armies of the Obsidian Lords. Like Nauneo, the wielder of Dominion, Hedinfrid was slain in one of the final battles of the Reckoning. She was disintegrated by Xael, but the Stormguard Plate is believed to have survived.
In the aftermath of the battle, the Stormguard Plate could not be found. Where it is and who it belongs to is a mystery.
