Alsonan

Alsonan, known in its own language as "Glossamas," is the language spoken by the Kingdom of Alsona and several of the tribes within the Sypi Confederacy. The language is said to have origins similar to that of the Shin language. The usage and conventions of Glossamas are completely unlike those of Common-speaking nations further south. However, around two centuries ago, Alsona was deluged by a large number of refugees and settlers from the Jakonian Empire, settling within the borders of Alsona as their own empire threatened to collapse. Therefore, Common has been rising steadily in use throughout Alsona, supplanting Alsonan in most major towns and cities. Alsonan continues to be the language of preference in rural villages and among some of the working class.
