Halflingi

Halflingi or "trade talk" is not truly a full language on its own and instead shares a space with shorthand like Thieves Cant. Most halflings speak Common like their human neighbors, but after years of commerce across the old Jakonian Empire, the halflings developed their own lingo for communicating among their caravans without raising the suspicions of guards or bandits. Eventually it grew in usage and became popular for talk even when not out on the trade routes. Halflingi is spoken widely among the halflings of the Villages, but wherever halflings can be found, this language is spoken.
