Sir Horace Brandom
Horace Brandom is one of the most famous wizards in the Jakonian Empire. Incredibly old for a wizard, he spent much of his younger life adventuring and traveling throughout the empire and the lands beyond. He is said to have traveled far beyond the Sypi River and even teleported beyond the Endless Ocean. The truth of these matters are unknown, but he has charted the most comprehensive maps of planes beyond the material plane, and has frequently stated that the material plane is irrelevant compared with the others. A master of conjuration magic, he has created a variety of new spells and techniques for aspiring casters, and while today he rarely takes on new students, the apprentices he has taken on over the past fifty years have all gone on to be powerful wizards in their own rights. He continues to operate out of the Imperial City today, having vacated his positions within the Imperial University, and instead, focused upon independent and reclusive studies of his own.
