House Mironescu
House Mironescu is the royal house of the Kingdom of Bamard. The majority of affairs in the kingdom are handled by the military, making the House fairly ceremonial in its purpose and foundation. The house has been the ruling family of Bamard for years, and traditionally the king has the final say in any tiebreaking votes in the Council of Generals. That use has always been a voluntary part of the council, and for the past two monarchs, the king has stayed out of disputes unless specifically called for. Today, a child is the last living member of the family, managed closely by the Council of Generals.
Public Agenda
The leadership of House Mironescu has for the past few decades been content to allow the military to continue the management of the nation of Bamard. They have fully embraced the military, and called for the citizenry to show it the utmost respect. The house has enabled the fight against the remaining aristocrats and their territories in Bamard, retaining its position as the sole noble house in the military kingdom. Past monarchs have also called for closer ties in trade with the Shin Empire, and the removal of monsters and bandits from the hinterlands of the realm.
Assets
House Mironescu is likely the poorest royal family in Emicara. They possess little in direct assets, besides the Royal Estate in Wetumpka, outside of the city's walls. The estate is well funded, and a portion of the nation's taxes go to maintain the lifestyle and position of the royal family, largely for the benefit of the gossip sheets and continuity of tradition and government. The family provides little else to the nation, and their guards and wealth are provided for by the people of Bamard.
