Lake Ponchart

Lake Ponchart is a major body of water situated on the border between the Dread Bayou and Foretbasse. This lake offers unparalleled fishing in the Kingdom of Losana, and may once have been a major trading route. The lake has developed an unfortunate reputation for cursing anyone who attempts to fish or otherwise ply the waters. Some believe that this has to do with the neighboring Spider Bend on the Sypi River. The spiders of the area are known to travel and raid on the lake as part of their own strange habits, making travel on the lake even more hazardous.
