Dread Bayou
The Dread Bayou is the vast, marshy area to the south of the Kingdom of Losana. The region is well known to contain valuable resources and deposits of gasses, and the remnants of several large communities that had existed during the days of the Nameless Empire. The area is considered to be too wet and soft for the giants of the west to enter, and thus it has given birth to a almost mythical kingdom of lizardfolk in its environs. The borders of this kingdom and its holdings is unknown to most humans, with only a few words here and there about its affairs trickling out among the lizardfolk of Riveraineville and Losana. Flooding is common throughout the Bayou, from the myriad lakes and rivers, and for the most part it is considered to be extremely hazardous for travel and adventure, but the hides of the creations within are often viewed as worth the risk by hunters.
