Lake Xiros

Lake Xiros is a large body of water in Alsona that marks the border between the Appsdilxyos and Patridaxos. The lake is also the source of the Ptosi River, with the springs that rest in the center of the lake. The Ptosi River flows east and then south through the nearby Lake Kentriko. Lake Xiros hosts the towns of Potamipoli and Xiros on either end, and a ferry and trade are constant presences upon the lake traveling between the two. Travel occasionally heads even further east on these ferries to the various small hamlets along the Ptosi River and Notostrophi on Lake Kentriko. Several small islands near Xiros on the lake act as vacation homes for nobles from Parthenonas and other major locations in Alsona.
