Lavender Jeftra
Chieftess Lavender Jeftra
Lavender Jeftra is the current chieftess of the Jeftra Tribe in the Sypi Confederacy. Much of her adulthood is shrouded in mystery, but as a child, she demonstrated surprising martial talent and became one of the warriors that protected the tribe's sanctuary. He talents in combat were not unnoticed and when she became a teenager, she grew restless, and sought out more and more extensive and elite training. She traveled the width of Emicara, seeking out tutors and fighters who could train her in exotic forms of combat. All the while, she recruited and sent more and more women back to the tribe, finding refuge for the battered and weary. The Last report came from her in 1019, when a letter indicated that she was going to attempt to cross the border into the Shin Empire.
Lavender's family feared she was lost or imprisoned by the Shin, as she was unresponsive for several years. In 1026 AF, she returned to the tribe with new scars and a hardened demeanor, refusing to expand upon what she had experienced. She joined the Jeftra's war effort against the Sihkas and demonstrated methods of unarmed combat that baffled and shocked many of her tribeswomen, showing new skills and abilities beyond most of them. When the war ended, she left as mysteriously as she had arrived and returned to the Apps.
Lavender's mother, the chieftess, became ill in 1033, and shortly after Lavender returned to her mother. She aided in what ways she could, but she was the clear successor even before she had departed. Lavender had saved the lives of many women in the tribe, and her experience of the world made her an obvious choice for the new chieftess. Since obtaining power in 1034, Lavender has worked hard to integrate the kobolds who have since joined the tribe and preserve the secrecy of the tribe's hidden citadel.
