Lewitania
Lewitania is a newer established town, a place for those who sided with the Sihka Tribe during the Sypi Civil War to flee after the conflict. Although the Battle of Red Hill has prevented them from otherwise engaging with Confederate politics, the town itself has begun to take shape, with new buildings rising daily, providing residences for a tribe that is attempting to leave its roots behind it. The town is very much a poor and weary place, as limited hunting and agriculture supply the town for its food and other needs. Lewitania lacks any friendliness with its neighbors, both of which are attempting to exclude it from commerce, making this so-called town a sad site, just barely beyond a tribal encampment in infrastructure and development.
Demographics
This young town consists entirely of members of the Lewite and Sihka tribes who fled their defeat in the Sypi Civil War. They have become extremely reclusive and unwilling to welcome any others into the region claimed by their tribe. These humans have turned away or simply killed those of other races found in their territory, exterminating an entire community of gnomes in the process, and have thus avoided any immigration. Even elves and halflings from the south give Lewitania a wide berth.
Government
The Lewite tribe is organized much like an absolutist monarchy. They are overseen by a single chieftain who rules over them. The laws of the land allow the chief to appoint heroes or advisors to administer his lands and see to the needs of the people. These are typically known as temporary positions to be replaced however the chief sees fit.
Defences
Lewitania is still barely a glorified tribal encampment and while a series of wooden palisades do exist, they are mostly smaller affairs around the more important stores and structures within the community. On the more positive side, the entire tribe consists of veterans of the Sypi Civil War and the conflicts with the dwarves. They have strong military experience, and nearly every adult Lewite is capable of raising arms in defense of their new town.
Industry & Trade
Only a handful of trade occurs, and very little new gold comes into Lewitania except via donations from the Church of the One Sun, attempting to keep them loyal. The gold that does arrive is almost entirely used to trade with the Kingdom of Alsona, buying weapons and materials needed for construction. Only a trickle of this trade actually makes it into Lewitania, thanks to constant vigilance from the dwarves who intercept these "smugglers" and keep a stranglehold on the community's growth.
Infrastructure
In the decade since Lewitania was founded, one of its greatest difficulties has been finding expertise in the delicate arts of building a town from the ground up. With the population extremely suspicious and hostile towards any outsiders, the Lewites have been forced to act via trial and error in the methods of building their town. There are no organized roads or lighting for the town besides campfires that are still often set up, even outside of so-called permanent structures. Latrines are still the most common method of waste disposal, which have begun to mount considerably, bringing a vile stench to the community.
Assets
Lewitania offers nothing to travelers and wanderers. They have no inns or taverns for those folks to find, and the only place an outsider may have refuge is the Cathedral of the One Sun, a vaingloriously named large longhouse that is used by the Church of the One Sun and their clergy to administer to the people of the town. There is a rudimentary marketplace, used by the Lewites themselves, but even if a traveler were to infiltrate the settlement, they'd find very little in the way of interesting items or supplies.
