Vlado Liba

Chief Vlado Liba

Vlado Liba is the chief of the Liba Tribe within the Sypi Confederacy. Very little is known about his childhood to the world outside of the Liba Tribe, due to their secretive nature. Valdo was educated in the ways of the maintenance of the Liba home, learning to take care of arcane machinery and devices, some dating all the way back to the days of the Nameless Empire. His engineering background helped to develop his skills and provide even better standards of living for his people. When he became chief in 1006, he was able to use these skills even more to help make some of the settlement's inherent attributes even more efficient and provide greater power and light for those in the depths of the town.   When the Sypi Civil War broke out in 1020, the Liba were already prepared for a war, having anticipated the events leading to the conflict. The Liba had already made their decision to join the Bienombes in the war, seeing the Church of the One Sun as a threat that had already tried several times to infiltrate the tribe and find their hidden stronghold. Vlado led the Liba army into the conflict directly, and helped reinforce and support a number of fortifications. The Liba also acted as skilled engineers and tunnelers when it came time to assault fortresses held by the Sihka and their supporters. These battles were won largely with Vlado's help, and he was thanks personally by Quico Bienombe for his efforts.   After the war, Vlado sent out emissaries from his tribe to assist in reconstruction of the towns and forts that were devastated by the fighting. Their efforts have helped provide water and housing to hundreds across the Confederacy, and Vlado himself has led these attempts to restore normalcy to the nation. He has also advocated for the continued isolation of the Liba from the other tribes, to protect their home and secrets.
